StewardEnsures all food preparation and storage areas are cleaned and maintained in a safe and sanitary mannerDepartment: Food & BeverageReports To: Stewarding SupervisorFSLA Designation: Non-exemptLicense Type: Non-gamingTarget Pay: Start - $24.39 One Year - $27.10Essential Job Functions:Sets up the dishwashing area with racks, chemicals, supplies and cartsScrapes food from dirty dishesPlaces tableware in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machineWashes pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and equipmentSweeps and mops kitchen floorsWashes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen or beverage areas as neededSegregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containersSteam cleans or hoses out garbage cansMaintains the can wash area on loading dock in sanitary and neat conditionTransfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areasOrganizes china, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment and utensils and suppliesFollows sanitation and safety guidelinesOther duties may be assignedQualifications:Must be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentSix months or more related experience or training preferredAbility to obtain and maintain all necessary licensingWorking Conditions:Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walkMust occasionally lift and lift up to 25 poundsFrequently required to stoop, crouch or kneelAbility to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanorExposure to high noise levelEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
