Retail Sales Specialist

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. $18.00/hour base pay, with the potential to earn $22.50/hour through commission and incentives. As a Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you will promote and sell our portfolio of products and services to existing and new customers, enhancing the customer experience and fostering exceptional customer care at each store location. What Retail Sales Specialists Enjoy Most About the Role Enhancing the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals. Identifying sales opportunities and creating ideal customer experiences through product support and education. Building positive customer relationships, effective listening, overcoming objections, and reselling product value. Work in a moderately noisy retail environment with Spectrum’s dress code. Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Skills & Abilities Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions. Comfortable with personal technology, mobile devices, video platforms, and computer applications. Basic math skills. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to change. Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments. Strong performance in a fast‑paced team environment. Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone, and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization. Self‑motivated, competitive spirit, and desire to exceed sales goals. Positive and professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the latest technology and devices. 1–5 years of sales/customer service experience. 1–3 years of telecommunications/wireless experience.
