Licensed Massage Therapist at Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist — Lymphatic Certified is preferred, but not required — to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support overall well‑being for our clients. This role involves delivering personalized treatments in a welcoming environment, ensuring client satisfaction and safety. A lymphatic certification is a plus, as it enhances the ability to offer specialized therapies that support lymphatic health and post‑op support. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and specialized techniques. Perform lymphatic massage therapy including post‑op. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Consult with clients to understand their health concerns and preferences to customize treatments effectively. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and certifications. Promote wellness services offered by the facility and educate clients on self‑care practices when appropriate. Adhere to all licensing requirements and professional standards for massage therapy practice. Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere that fosters client trust and satisfaction. Requirements Valid CT state licensure as a Massage Therapist. Proven experience providing massage therapy services in a professional setting. Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and client care protocols. Certification or training in lymphatic drainage therapy is highly desirable; a lymphatic certification is considered a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in client care. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
