$100,000+ yearly DOE

Responsibilities:

• Lead family law cases from start to finish, ensuring each client receives personalized and empathetic legal support.
• Advocate passionately for clients in court, presenting clear and compelling arguments to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Draft and review legal documents with precision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies that align with our firm's commitment to excellence.
• Provide clients with clear, actionable legal advice, empowering them to make informed decisions during challenging times.
• Maintain open and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved throughout their case.
• Participate in community outreach and networking events to enhance the firm's presence and build strong client relationships in Beaufort County.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of family law experience and an SC Law License; an additional license in Georgia or North Carolina would be a plus.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations.

• A 4-year degree with a legal background and a J.D. degree are necessary for this position.

• Experience with billing and keeping track of billable time on cases.

• Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations.

• Team-oriented, flexible, organized, and willing to work across office locations when needed is a plus.

• Self-starter who will take the proactive initiative to complete priorities on a daily basis.

• Ability to creatively problem-solve and come up with workable solutions, figure things out on your own.

• Must be willing to travel locally around Hilton Head and Beaufort, as well as the surrounding area, for mediations, depositions, and court.
