CV IS A MUST!!! 3x12 Days 7a-7p, weekdays, on-call (occasional weeknight call 7p-7a; 1 weekend per month or in a 5 week schedule, may appear as 2 weekends - call only Saturday and until 11pm on Sunday). Unit Description: 14 Rooms Average Daily Census is 25 Types of Cases REQ: Scrub, Circulate, and Equipment Documentation Years of experience REQ: 2 Years First-timers accepted: FIRST-TIME TRAVELERS ARE ACCEPTED IF THEY HAVE EXPERIENCE SCRUBBING IN THE FOLLOWING: CVOR Required (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window). CVOR Preferred (Atherectomy, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Cardiomyplasty, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, VAD). Surgery Required (General, Endo/Laparoscopic, Thoracic) Surgery Preferred (Vascular, Urology, Ortho/Total Joints) Weekend REQ: Not scheduled, on call only. National Certs REQ: NBSTSA BLS REQ: Yes On-Call Requirement: There may be an occasional weeknight call 7p-7a. Generally, there is a team on at night. If they are on vacation of call in, we cover the shift with staff. Vacation is a few weeks in advance call ins may be the day of. It is rotated with staff or volunteers.
