Surgical Technologist II - Main OR (Full Time, Days)

As a Procedural Technician, you will create an optimal environment for procedural patients, ensuring sterile and aseptic technique, performing scrubbing, decontamination, and sterilization. Summary Procedural Technicians function in both non-sterile and sterile capacities by creating an optimal environment for the procedural patient. Perform a wide range of duties including aseptic technique, sterile technique, scrubbing, decontamination and sterilization. Maintain knowledge of instruments, proper use, and decontamination/sterilization protocols. Responsibilities Maintain competency in aseptic and sterile techniques and universal precautions. Practice under the direct supervision of the procedural team within the scope of a Procedural Technician. Possess age‑specific knowledge and skills to meet patients’ physical, psychological and social needs. Consult and collaborate with colleagues to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of patient care. Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning by engaging in continuing education and maintaining records of competency. Credentials Surgical Technologist (Required) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) (Required) Education or Equivalent Experience High School Diploma or GED (Required) Five (5) or more years of Operating Room experience We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits program that includes one of the finest prepaid tuition assistance programs in the region.
