“Stumpy's Lakeside Grill” is a self-serve, fast paced restaurant and marina located on Lake Granbury in Granbury TX. Our facility features a restaurant, bar, bakery, boutique, ship store, bait and tackle, gas dock, boat rental service, and boat slip leasing. We offer full-time, and part-time, and seasonal positions in almost every department with opportunity for cross training and advancement.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking team members who enjoy working with people and take pride in creating a great guest experience. Our Front of House team members help keep Stumpy’s running smoothly while providing excellent service in a fast-paced, fun environment.

• Previous restaurant, retail, cashier, or hospitality experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Job candidates must be Clean, professional, and personable.
• Available to work mornings, evenings and/or nights.
• Works well at a fast or slow pace
• Use of basic math skills
• TX Food Handlers Cert. (may be acquired no more than 30 days after being hired)

Responsibilities

·         Assist Guests & Provide Excellent Service

·         Welcome and assist guests with a friendly and positive attitude

·         Accurately enter food orders and process customer requests

·         Answer menu questions and provide recommendations when needed

·         Develop a strong knowledge of Stumpy’s menu, bakery offerings, and retail items to better assist guests

·         Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions or orders

·         Handle cash transactions accurately, including counting change and maintaining proper money-handling procedures

·         Provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest

·         Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, boutique, and bakery areas

·         Complete daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and general upkeep

·         Restock supplies and products as needed

·         Keep customer-facing areas clean, welcoming, and ready for guests

·         Assist team members wherever needed to support daily operations

Business Hours

Normal business hours are from 11 am to 9 pm Tuesday – Saturday, 8pm Sunday. Shifts start as early as 9 am and are normally no later than 11 pm. We are closed most Mondays and major family holidays excluding Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
