Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Lexington, Kentucky.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a high-risk unit requiring KY or compact RN license and NRP certification.Details\n \n Work in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit with 17 private suites, 5 triage/PACU beds, 4 ORs, a 3-bed OB ED, and a specialized antepartum unit\n Third shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a\n Weekends as needed\n Requirements\n \n Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required\n BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Life-Threatening Dysrhythmia certifications required\n ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred\n No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred\n Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices\n Additional Information\n \n Provide comprehensive nursing assessments, treatments, and care coordination for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients\n Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education\n Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members\n Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures\n Collaborate closely with an interprofessional care team to support patient-centered outcomes\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-752928.
