Director of Talent Acquisition

Salt Lake City, UT or Dallas, TX (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full talent acquisition function, including strategy, process, and day-to-day execution
• Build a headcount and labor capacity planning process in partnership with operations leadership and sales
• Shift recruiting from reactive to proactive by building pipelines for high-volume field installer roles across multiple divisions
• Manage the talent acquisition budget, including spend on sourcing tools and technology
• Lead the selection and implementation of a dedicated ATS, integrated with the company's HRIS
• Evaluate and deploy modern sourcing tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to keep the team lean and efficient
• Hire, lead, and develop a high-volume recruiter as the first direct report
• Set clear expectations and communication cadences with hiring leaders across the organization
• Travel periodically between the Salt Lake City and Dallas offices

Qualifications

• Hands-on recruiting experience with a track record of filling roles, plus experience setting talent acquisition strategy
• Experience recruiting for or supporting a skilled-trades or field-based workforce preferred
• Strong recruiting operations background, including process design, tools, reporting, and workforce planning
• Ability to work autonomously as an organized, accountable owner of the function
• In-house, RPO, or search firm leadership backgrounds are welcome
• ATS or HRIS implementation experience is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Compensation

• Base Salary: $135,000–$155,000, commensurate with experience
