Job Details

• Position: RN for Resource Pool, Float, M/S Tele by specialty, working nights.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current NY nursing license, or proof of application, with an application date submitted; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry; at least 1 year of recent relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: CMSRN certification.
• Additional Information:
  • Able to work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve.
  • Must work every other weekend and be flexible to adjust schedule based on unit needs.
  • Expectation to work ED HOLD patients.
  • All employment gaps over 90 days should be explained.
  • Complete work history, including bed count, EMR system, and facility type, is required for submission.
  • All applicants must have reliable transportation; vehicles should be equipped for winter conditions from November through April.
  • No block schedules; bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
  • IVS to offer.
