Cashier (Bar-Focused) Dish Society Memorial

We're looking for a Cashier who will primarily work behind the bar. This role is a cashier position first, with a focus on bar responsibilities. You'll still be expected to learn and perform all cashier duties, but your main station will be the bar area.

What This Position Does

• Take guest orders at the register and guide them through the menu
• Prepare and serve all bar drinks including:
• Cocktails
• Beer & wine
• Coffee & espresso drinks
• House-made sodas and specialty beverages
• Learn and maintain proper barista techniques (milk steaming, espresso extraction, drink builds)
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar station
• Support the front-of-house by running drinks, bussing, and resetting when needed
• Provide warm, genuine hospitality every guest, every time

What We Need from You

• Comfort learning all cashier responsibilities, even though your main spot is the bar
• Ability to stay calm during rushes and work clean, organized, and efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Willingness to learn our drink specs and maintain consistency
• Previous bar or barista experience is a plus, but not required we will train you
• Must be 18+ to work behind the bar
