Customer Success Associate | Revenue Adoption & Growth @ AI Startup

CommanderAI is building the go-to revenue engine for the $100B+ waste and recycling industry. We help haulers find, win, and keep more business using AI-driven data, automation, and a sales workflow built specifically for this market. We are looking for a sharp, highly organized Customer Success Associate to join us onsite at our corporate office in Marina del Rey, CA. Working alongside our Customer Success Lead, you'll help build the relationship for the rest of the subscription, making sure every hauler keeps getting value, keeps growing with us, and renews. You aren't just answering tickets; you are the reason our customers can't imagine running their sales team without CommanderAI. What you'll do Help Manage a Book: Help manage a book of accounts from onboarding and own them through renewal. Drive Ongoing Adoption: Create plans and supporting materials; Monitor product usage and engagement across your accounts. Protect Retention: Identify at-risk accounts early using usage data, support trends, and customer sentiment; help build relationships with customers. Train and Support: Answer product questions, troubleshoot issues, and run live training for new reps, new managers, and customers who need a refresher. Prove the Value: Lead regular check-ins and business reviews that show customers what CommanderAI is producing for them, including leads worked, deals won, and revenue added. Find Expansion: Understand each hauler's business well enough to spot growth opportunities, such as more seats, new markets, and add-on products. Voice of the Customer: Capture feedback, bugs, and feature requests, and get them to Product & Engineering in a form they can act on. Keep the Record Straight: Maintain clean CRM records on every account. What you've done Experience: 1-2 years in a B2B SaaS in customer success or support or another customer-facing role. Organized to a Fault: You can juggle dozens of accounts without dropping a follow-up. Data-Comfortable: At home in a CRM and can read usage data to tell a healthy account from one that's slipping. Clear Communicator: You can train a room of frontline reps in the morning and walk an owner through their results in the afternoon. You explain AI in plain English. Startup DNA: You're comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership without being asked, and like building processes where none exist. Bonus: Experience with waste, logistics, trades, or other blue-collar B2B industries.
