Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to join a growing team in the Auburn area. This position is responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used for water, gas, drainage, and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, working with various piping materials, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipe according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Install and maintain water, sewer, gas, and industrial piping systems.
- Test piping systems for leaks and proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and piping issues.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations.
- Work independently or as part of a team on commercial, industrial, or construction projects.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
- Previous experience as a Plumber, Pipefitter, Steamfitter, or related trade required.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with PVC, copper, cast iron, steel, and other piping materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred but not required.
- Experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
