Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team serving Portland, ME, and the surrounding communities. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in residential and/or commercial plumbing installations, capable of working independently, and committed to delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Location: Portland, Maine and surrounding areas
Pay: $45.00–$50.00 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
MUST have Journeyman Plumber License & OSHA 10 certification.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial projects.
- Perform rough-in installations for 3-inch drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems.
- Install PEX water distribution systems and PVC venting in accordance with code requirements.
- Read, interpret, and execute work from blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
