Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Location: Mesa, AZ
Employer: CareNational - On behalf of a multi-specialty outpatient healthcare client CareNational is recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a busy outpatient clinic delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a full-time opportunity with a well-respected healthcare organization that offers both clinical and front-office exposure in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. Position Summary As a Certified Medical Assistant , you will assist healthcare providers during patient visits and procedures, while also supporting front-office workflow. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR
• Support front-office operations : scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referrals
• Assist providers during patient exams and minor procedures
• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms following infection control protocols
• Collect and record vital signs and patient history
• Provide clear post-visit instructions and basic patient education
• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and clinic visitors
• Maintain inventory and restock medical supplies as needed

Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification (required)

• Accept a CMA diploma, must be certified for 1 year.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical assistant
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Athena experience highly preferred
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as part of regular duties
• Reliable transportation is required for occasional travel to nearby clinic sites
