Certified Athletic Trainer - Men's Lacrosse/MWP

The Iona University Athletic Department is currently inviting applications for an open Assistant Athletic Trainer position. Sports assignments will include, but are not limited to, Men's Lacrosse & Men's Water Polo. The individual in this position will provide preventative and rehabilitative health care to Iona University student-athletes. Responsibilities of this position include providing athletic training services to the Iona student-athletes for practices and games, determining course of treatments for injured athletes, consulting the Head Athletic Trainer and/or referring to Team Physician as needed, and maintaining athletic training equipment and supplies. This individual will also assist in other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer. A staff of ten Certified Athletic Trainers make up the Iona University Sports Medicine staff, and oversee the medical care of Iona’s 22 Varsity Sports.
