About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Programs, Climate & Biodiversity to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a passion for challenging the status quo and driving the development of impactful, long-term campaigns that address the urgent issues of climate change, biodiversity loss, and social and economic injustice. This senior leadership role involves partnering with the President to shape the organization's strategy, providing programmatic leadership, and ensuring that the Climate & Biodiversity portfolio is well-resourced and aligned with the company's priorities. The role also includes a strong focus on fundraising, external partnerships, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture within the organization. Applicants must have a proven track record in program leadership, advocacy, and fundraising, with a deep commitment to environmental and social justice. Essential qualifications include experience in climate policy, biodiversity conservation, and related fields, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead and support diverse teams. The role requires a candidate with strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management skills, who can effectively collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders. A successful candidate will be adept at translating vision into measurable impact, and will be prepared to travel internationally as needed. Preferred qualifications include deep subject matter expertise in the relevant fields, experience in organizational leadership, and fluency in an additional language relevant to the company's global partnerships.
