IT Field Support Technician

IT Field Support TechnicianFord Office Technologies is growing and due to this growth, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Field Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will go on-site to our customers' locations and provide Tier 1 level IT support which will include, but not limited to; technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensure our clients' IT systems are operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in various field environments.Responsibilities:Set up new user accounts and profiles and handle any password issues.Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops and printers.Support the training and roll-out of new applications.Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)Ability to set up and work with smart boards, and basic knowledge of working with a server and networking.Chromebook repair and Google Suite.Answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of network connected devices.Perform system upgrades and routine maintenance.Manage and support Microsoft 365 accounts and services.Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at one time by maintaining files and records.Ford Office Technologies, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Top Workplace and Pittsburgh Business Times Best Place to Work, is the area's largest independent full-line authorized provider of the industry's top four manufacturers for copier, printer, and multi-function product (MFP) technology – Canon, Konica Minolta, Kyocera and Lanier (Ricoh).
