Echo Tech: Echo Tech

Job Description: Join a fast-paced adult echocardiography team in Bismarck, North Dakota, performing inpatient and outpatient studies in a high-volume echo department. This travel contract is centered on adult echo work—especially Definity and agitated saline studies—while pediatric experience is a plus. You’ll handle a mix of procedures including transthoracic echocardiograms, and if experienced and time permitting, TEE, exercise stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo. Day shift varies with a rotated on-call schedule that also includes weekends and holidays. The department is staffed seven days a week with 8-hour coverage, and additional coverage may require evening shifts (possible 11–7 when fully staffed and ready). You may also float to other units/departments and, at times, work alone. Expected reporting and workflow include Epic (CUPID) and Tom Tech, with Philips echo systems (EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50). Most studies are performed bedside.
