Registered Nurse JobPowers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Oncology to work nights at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.The goal of the Medical Oncology department is to provide continuous, efficient care to patients requiring services for cancer or hematologic diseases. The department is dedicated to supportive services that meet the needs of the patient population served in the least obtrusive way possible. This is accomplished through a multi-disciplinary approach that is progressive and tailored to each patient's need.Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of PH by providing the highest quality care.Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.Required Skills & Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.BSN preferred.Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).Obtains and maintains current CPR.Your Extraordinary Career Starts HereWe invite you to join our team of professionals where your unique talents will be well utilized in a work environment that promotes your further growth and development.
