Tech Developer / Manager - Leasing Administration

Role Description The Technology Developer & Manager for Leasing Administration is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO. This role is responsible for assisting with the development and testing of software that will improve the company's ability to review and track lease documents, amendments, and related correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting, testing, and ongoing development of the lease administration software that maintains lease records. Along with the administration of client leases in the system. This position will support the brokerage team with lease abstracts, reports, and data entry, as well as assist in organizing files and ensuring all documentation is properly executed and stored. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills or understanding of website Coding. A general understanding of Lease Documents, including reviewing and abstracting lease agreements and related legal documents. Candidates should possess skills in Lease Administration, with experience in maintaining lease databases, tracking critical dates, and ensuring compliance with lease terms. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external partners in writing and verbally. Beneficial Qualifications Additional beneficial qualifications include strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills, proficiency with office and database software (e.g., Excel, CRM or lease management tools), and familiarity with industrial or commercial real estate. Preferred background includes prior experience as a web designer, paralegal, leasing, and a bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field.
