Technical Sales Manager – Water & Wastewater

£50,000–£60,000 basic | Bonus up to 10% | Company car or allowance | Home based | UK-wide territory

You already know how wastewater projects work. Now imagine being the person who wins them.

We're recruiting for an established UK manufacturer of engineered water storage, wastewater treatment and liquid containment solutions. The business is looking for someone to develop opportunities with water companies, framework contractors and consultants across the UK.

You may already be selling technical solutions into wastewater frameworks. Or you may be an internal salesperson, engineer or project manager who understands these projects and is ready to take the lead with customers. Both backgrounds are of interest.

This role gives you ownership of an opportunity from the first enquiry through to the proposed solution, quotation, order and project handover. You'll have support from technical, design and operational colleagues, alongside the freedom to build relationships and develop business nationally.

The Role

Identify and develop opportunities across UK water and wastewater frameworks.

Build relationships with water companies, contractors and consultants.

Assess specifications, drawings and site requirements.

Develop solutions, costings, quotations and technical submissions.

Lead customer meetings, site visits and presentations.

Work with internal teams to see projects through delivery.

About You

You'll understand the water or wastewater sector and be comfortable discussing technical requirements with customers. You'll bring either a track record in solution-led sales or strong commercial potential gained through internal sales, engineering, applications or project management.

Experience of wastewater frameworks is particularly valuable. You'll need to be self-driven, organised and happy travelling across the UK.

Location: Home based in the Midlands, ideally around Birmingham, Stoke, Derby, Nottingham or surrounding areas, giving you access to the full UK territory.

Package: £50,000–£60,000 basic salary, bonus up to 10%, company car or car allowance, five weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, pension and life assurance.
