Come join our in‑house therapy team at the beautiful Highland Park Rehabilitation Skilled Nursing facility, in Aurora Colorado. Our 110‑bed facility houses a resident demographic from varying acuity, giving you the opportunity to assist in the betterment of all walks of life amongst those we steward. Job Summary In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care, support residents in their recovery and daily wellness, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives personalized, dignified care. This position reports to the Director of Nursing. Job Duties Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment. Develops and ensures the nursing care plan and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants. Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care. Collaborates with the residents and members of the healthcare team. Records the administration of medication. Monitors assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility. Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies. Performs other duties as directed. Requirements / Education / Experience An Associate’s Degree (ADN); Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) - Preferred. An active RN license. Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community – Preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. The desire to care for residents and act with integrity. The ability to work flexible hours.
