Compensation: 60% of Net Collections; (Estimated earning potential of $210-$270 per clinical session)\n
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (practice requirement of at least 10 hours per week)\n
Schedule: 16 clinical hours per week\n
Location: This is an onsite position at our Durham, NC office.\n

Role Summary
North Carolina Mental Health & Psychiatry Group , an ARC Health partner practice, which partners with and operates out of the Lepage Associates offices, is seeking a highly qualified, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our thriving practice in Durham, NC. Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan—ages 5 through 80—in an outpatient setting who works a minimum of 10 hours per week.\n

Psychiatrist Responsibilities: \n

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
\n
• Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
\n
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
\n
• Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care to ensure comprehensive treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
\n
• Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
\n
• Other duties as assigned.

\n Requirements \n

\n

\n
• Active, unrestricted medical license in North Carolina, or willing to obtain
\n
• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
\n
• Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practice
\n
• Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
\n
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment
