Job Description
PACU Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled PACU Nurse to join our team for a temporary contract. This position involves providing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), specifically in pre-operative, post-operative, and Phase 1 recovery settings.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour evening shifts, starting from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, beginning on specified start dates.
• Contract Length: 6 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Must have an active Illinois license, CPR, and ACLS certifications.
• Floating Requirement: Will float within the department as necessary.
• On Call Requirement: None

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of solid core staff experience in an acute care setting
• At least 2 successful travel contracts
• Active Illinois nursing license
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications

Experience Preferred

• Extensions on contracts are preferred.
• Strong PACU experience with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
