Talent Corps is now hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for an upcoming project in Bastrop, TX!

Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Bastrop, TX
Start Date: September 2026
Job Type: Temporary/Project-Based with potential for additional work
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
What You'll Do
- Safely operate heavy construction equipment on an active jobsite
- Operate equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, and/or other heavy machinery
- Perform grading, digging, loading, moving materials, and other sitework as directed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
- Follow jobsite safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work effectively as part of a construction crew
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Ability to safely operate assigned equipment
- Construction/sitework experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
- Strong attendance and dependable work history
- Must be safety-minded and willing to follow all jobsite requirements
- Equipment certifications are a plus
