CoWorx is seeking a Quality Inspector in the Chelmsford, MA area! Schedule: 2nd Shift Employment Type: Direct Hire Join a Growing Manufacturing Team! This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented quality professional with a strong background in electronics and electromechanical manufacturing environments. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and industry quality standards through in-process and final inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections of in-process and finished products.
• Verify products meet workmanship, engineering, customer, and quality specifications.
• Conduct inspections on materials and components while documenting inspection results and non-conformances.
• Assist in identifying quality issues, troubleshooting problems, and supporting corrective actions.
• Set up and operate a variety of testing instruments and inspection equipment.
• Perform and review pull testing and other quality verification activities.
• Utilize blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and specifications during inspections.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation.
• Track and update product status within company databases and quality systems.
• Support statistical process monitoring and quality reporting initiatives.
• Assist fellow inspectors with complex inspection assignments.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of quality inspection experience, preferably within an electronics or electromechanical manufacturing environment.
• Experience inspecting electronic assemblies, components, and finished products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification or experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using inspection and testing equipment in a manufacturing setting.
