Job Details Job Location: Pulaski Memorial Hospital - WINAMAC, IN 46996 This position provides staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve problems. The employee in this position also assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Qualifications This position provides staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. End User Support (50%) Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems On-call when needed Training staff Using IT Support Request system to document, prioritize, and track requests. Routine Maintenance (30%) Installing/configuring new computers/servers Repairing/upgrading hardware and software Supports administration of servers Troubleshooting printers/scanners/fax machines/copiers Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam. Maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases Infrastructure Support (20%) Building and installing cables Running hospital cabling Researching, learning, and evaluating new software Documenting systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Pulaski Memorial Hospital
