Phlebotomist

Position Details Phlebotomist – PAML (Project‑Based Assessment & Management Laboratory) at Labcorp, Spokane, WA. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm. Additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience. 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy. Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy requirement. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $17.75 – $26.41 per hour. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PST may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
