Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Clinical Magnet is seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) to join a dynamic Multi-Site Float Team supporting several hospitals across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for ICU nurses who are clinically strong, adaptable, and interested in expanding their experience across multiple critical care environments.

Position Summary: As an ICU Float RN, you will deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients across multiple facilities. You will support staffing needs while maintaining excellence in patient outcomes, safety, and clinical standards. This position offers self-scheduling and the flexibility to choose day or night shifts, allowing for greater autonomy in your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
• Monitor, assess, and respond to complex patient conditions
• Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced life support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Adapt quickly to varying ICU protocols and environments
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety regulations

Work Schedule:

• Self-scheduling available
• Choice of Day or Night Shift
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Travel Requirements:

This is a multi-site role covering facilities in: Easton, Macungie, Dickson City, Pottsville, Bethlehem, Hazleton, Lehighton, and Gilbertsville

What We're Looking For:

• An ICU nurse who is highly skilled in critical care and patient management
• Adaptable and confident in new clinical environments
• Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment
• A collaborative and dependable team member

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of critical care protocols and equipment
• Experience with electronic medical records
