AssemblerOnly qualified candidates located near the Sumter, South Carolina area will be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence.Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience: Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience, experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to use hand tools such as an Allen wrench, socket wrench, screwdriver, and box cutter.Tech Skills: Basic measurement tools such as microscopes, basic math calculations, ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English, ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills with coworkers and Team Lead or Supervisor, ability to work effectively in a team environment, ability to work flexible or extended hours, reliable and punctual attendance, willingness to rotate between different tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities: Perform tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices, set up, operate, perform maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment, conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications, follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods, adhere to established quality guidelines and manufacturing requirements, perform basic measurements and calculations as required during manufacturing activities, maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, rotate between different tasks and responsibilities based on operational needs.Physical Demand: Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time, lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted, ability to perform physical activities required for manufacturing and assembly operations, wear required steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes, complete required on-site eye examination.Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.
