Operations Manager

What You’ll Own

As Operations Manager, you’ll keep our commercial janitorial accounts and special projects running smoothly—protecting service quality, timelines, and client trust. This role exists to coordinate people, priorities, and on-site details so work is completed to standard every time.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day performance across assigned accounts and job sites
- Lead, coach, and support field teams; address concerns promptly and professionally
- Communicate with clients to resolve issues, confirm expectations, and maintain strong relationships
- Coordinate special projects, including construction final cleans, from planning through closeout
- Track quality, supplies, and site readiness; follow up on corrective actions

Required qualifications/skills:
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, and efficient
- Able to pass a background check
- Availability for evenings and weekends as needed
- Spanish is a plus; janitorial industry experience preferred, not required

A Typical Shift

You’ll start by checking messages and site updates, then map out priorities for the day—what needs attention now, what can be scheduled, and where a quick visit will prevent a bigger issue later. Expect time in the field moving between locations, short check-ins with clients, and real-time adjustments when schedules shift.

Some days include walk-throughs for upcoming work, coordinating after-hours needs, or confirming details for a construction final clean. You’ll wrap up by closing loops—making sure questions are answered, notes are documented, and the next day is set up to run cleanly.
