Pediatric Feeding Therapist (SLP)

Northwest Center Early Supports is hiring a Feeding Therapist (SLP) | Flexible Part-Time to Full-Time Schedule (4-32 hours per week)!

 

As a Pediatric   Feeding Therapist ( Speech-Language Pathologist ), you will primarily provide evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services to infants and children (ages 0–36 months) experiencing feeding difficulties. In addition to feeding, you will support a wide range of developmental needs within your professional scope of practice, including speech, language, sensory-motor, fine motor, or other areas of concern.

 

A successful candidate is passionate about supporting the  whole child and demonstrates flexibility, creativity, and compassion while working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and community partners. You will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, educators, and family resources coordinators—all dedicated to helping young children thrive.

 

About Northwest Center Kids:

Northwest Center Kids Early Supports is a unique program at the intersection of educational and medical services for children with disabilities. Our collaborative team is committed to evidence-informed, strengths-based, and family-centered care, providing services in homes, childcare, and community settings—both in-person and via telehealth. We work with families to support development through coaching, modeling, and reflection, while centering equity, inclusion, and cultural humility.

 

This position falls under a collective bargaining agreement with the  UFCW 3000 union .  

 

Location:  Hybrid, Seattle, WA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, choose a consistent schedule between 4 and 32 hours per week based on your availability (Wednesdays required)

Wage Range : $36.97 - $52.92 per hour

Qualifications:  

• Master’s degree or equivalent
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington
• Must provide own car and insurance that meets state minimum insurance requirements
• Two (2+) or more years’ experience working with children
• Ability to collaborate with families using a coaching model that supports parent-child interaction and daily routines
• Serve children and families in natural environments (home, childcare, community) or via telehealth
• Knowledge of infant feeding and child development for children 0-5 years
• Experience working with children who are tube-fed and/or weaning from a feeding tube preferred
• Commitment to providing equitable services to families who are linguistically and racially diverse
• Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, and community partners
• Candidates with experience providing services with non-English speaking families and/or infant mental health desired
• Must have or obtain current CPR and first aid certifications
• Complete bloodborne pathogens and HIV training
