Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed
- Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory therapy certification (e.g., CRT, RRT)
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
