SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK WITH FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Shipping and Receiving Clerk with Forklift experience  for a company based in City, State. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient movement of materials and finished products throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operation. This position performs both  physical warehouse duties and shipping/receiving documentation , including receiving incoming materials, loading and unloading trucks, picking and staging orders, preparing shipments, verifying quantities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and completing shipping paperwork. The position requires strong attention to detail, safe material-handling practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:15 am to 3:45 pm.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk with Forklift experience   Duties  and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against  purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and receiving documents . 
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment. 
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for  correct product, quantity, condition, and labeling . 
• Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged materials, and other shipping or receiving discrepancies. 
• Pick, pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment. 
• Prepare and apply  shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required documentation . 
• Verify orders before shipment to ensure accuracy. 
• Operate  sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. 
• Move raw materials and finished products between receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping areas. 
• Stage completed orders in designated areas for carrier pickup. 
• Load outbound shipments safely and efficiently. 
• Assist with  inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory as required. 
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies. 
• Enter or update shipping, receiving, and inventory information in company systems. 
• Communicate with truck drivers, carriers, warehouse personnel, production employees, and other departments regarding shipments and deliveries. 
• Organize warehouse and storage locations to maintain efficient product flow. 
• Follow proper procedures when handling industrial products and materials. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area. 
• Follow all company  safety procedures, PPE requirements, and material-handling guidelines . 
• Perform additional warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory duties as assigned.  

Shipping and Receiving Clerk with Forklift Experience Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred. 
• Previous experience in  shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, manufacturing, or material handling preferred. 
• Previous forklift experience strongly preferred. 
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks. 
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving documents, including  bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and purchase orders . 
• Basic computer and data-entry skills. 
• Ability to accurately read  item numbers, product descriptions, quantities, labels, and shipping documents . 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to identify and communicate inventory or shipment discrepancies. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse/production team.   Dependable attendance and punctuality. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced  manufacturing and warehouse environment . 
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive material-handling activities. 
• Ability to lift and move boxes, containers, and other materials as required. 
• Ability to follow safety procedures when working around  industrial adhesives, chemicals, forklifts, and manufacturing equipment .
