Family Medicine with Surgical OB | Revitalize Community OB Program | Wheatland, WY

Wheatland offers small-town living at its best, with stunning mountain views, lakes, and outdoor activities including fishing and hiking at nearby Guernsey and Glendo, as well as Laramie Peak and Medicine Bow National Forest. Community traditions include the County Fair and Chugwater Chili Cookoff, with big-city amenities just an hour away in Cheyenne and a short drive to Denver.

Shape and grow a community OB program with an established patient base and renovated clinic and exam rooms.

Clinic / Position Highlights:

Base salary: $325,000
$100,000 loan repayment through Banner Health, plus NHSC eligibility
$60,000 sign-on/relocation
Eligible for retention bonus
Flexible 4-day workweek
HRSA-designated site with HPSA score of 12
No state income tax
Cohesive team and supportive staff
Access to a full range of medical specialties in the area to support patient care
Serving the Wheatland community for over 40 years, providing trusted care

We seek candidates who are:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Surgical OB trained
Outgoing, engaged, and excited to connect with the community and grow the OB program
Collaborative, friendly, and patient-focused

About Platte County Hospital (PCH)

A 25-bed critical access hospital, PCH provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. Serving the community since 1955, the hospital offers a welcoming environment for patients and providers, with support from Banner Healths integrated system - including access to specialty care, administrative resources, and technology to ensure high-quality patient care.
