Job Description
This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The CNA supports nursing staff by providing direct patient care and assisting residents with daily living activities. Responsibilities include helping residents maintain comfort, mobility, and personal hygiene while ensuring a safe and supportive care environment. The CNA will work closely with nurses and other healthcare team members to provide compassionate care for residents who may require assistance due to age, illness, injury, or chronic medical conditions. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, patience, and attention to detail when supporting residents and monitoring changes in their condition. The CNA plays an essential role in maintaining resident dignity and promoting quality of life within the long-term care environment. Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant certification and be in good standing with the appropriate state registry. Previous experience working in a long-term care facility, skilled nursing facility, or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Applicants should have a strong understanding of patient care practices, infection control procedures, and safety protocols used in long-term care environments.
