Physician – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens assignment covering urgent dates beginning 07/27/2026 through 08/10/2026, with additional coverage periods in October, November, and December 2026 through January 2027
• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with up to 10 patient encounters per shift
• Manage low risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, VBACs, and abruptions
• Exercise clinical decision-making for c-sections
• Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
• Must hold an active NC license or IMLC with a clean history
• Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
• Vendors are responsible for obtaining and submitting all necessary pre-hire requirements including a completed background check and drug screen
