Job Title: Commercial Electrician

Job Description

This role focuses on installing, roughing in, and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the general contractor. You will install and terminate wiring at switches, circuit breaker panels, relays, and other control devices, and ensure safe, reliable power distribution for lighting, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Rough in conduit and wiring for new commercial buildings using plans and prints provided by the general contractor.
• Install, route, and secure conduit systems to support commercial electrical installations.
• Pull, label, and terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, relays, and other control equipment.
• Wire instruments and devices that control power, lighting, and heating units in commercial buildings.
• Provide wiring and connections for air conditioning and refrigeration units in commercial environments.
• Interpret and follow electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to complete installations accurately.
• Perform outlet wiring, including installation of receptacles, switches, and related devices.

Work Environment

You will work on active commercial job sites in and around Buffalo, New York. Standard hours are typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with work performed in a field-based construction environment. The role involves regular use of power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders, as well as handling conduit, wire, and related materials. Work is performed in and around new commercial structures, where adherence to site safety rules and appropriate work attire suitable for construction settings is expected.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo, NY.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Buffalo,NY.
