Information Technology Technician

Work Location: On-site only; this position is not eligible for telecommuting. Position Summary We are seeking an IT Technician for an hourly, on-site position. The IT Technician will install, configure, maintain, and support computer systems, networks, printers, and related technology. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and a willingness to learn. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and configure workstations, computers, and peripheral devices, including routers, printers, and multifunction devices. Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and user-access functions according to established specifications. Maintain and troubleshoot printers and multifunction devices. Provide user orientation and guidance on new software, computer equipment, and IT processes. Provide phone-based and remote technical support to retail stores for daily operational needs. Communicate effectively with a diverse group of onsite and remote users. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operating‑system issues. Clean and maintain desktop equipment, IDF rooms, server rooms, and related IT work areas. Assist with technology-related projects and other duties outside the IT department as needed. Follow established IT, cybersecurity, and data‑protection procedures. Required Qualifications At least 1 year of experience supporting technology in a professional office environment. Basic experience as an IT Technician or in a related technical support role. Proficiency in supporting and maintaining multiple operating systems, including Windows, Apple macOS, Apple iOS, and Android. Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and common business applications. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer‑service skills and the ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge. Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn through training and independent study. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work independently and proactively identify productive tasks, improvements, maintenance needs, documentation opportunities, or learning activities when no support tickets or assigned tasks are pending. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience supporting technology in a professional office environment. CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or comparable technical certifications. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Experience supporting Microsoft on‑premises and cloud‑hosted environments, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Exchange / Cisco, SonicWall, and Aruba networking equipment / Oracle systems / CrowdStrike, Okta, Shopify, or similar platforms. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and experience assisting with security management or incident response. #J-18808-Ljbffr
