Quant Developer (Commodities)
\nSalary: $250k-350k
\nTotal compensation: very flexible - dependent on performance and seniority
\n \nWe're partnered with a top-tier quant trading firm hiring a Quant Developer to sit directly with analysts on their Petroleum and Natural Gas desk.
\n \nThis is a quant dev / desk-engineering role where you'll turn research ideas into production-grade models and tools, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the business rather than in central technology.
\n \nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Work side-by-side with analysts to translate research concepts into production-ready models and tools \n
- Design and maintain analytics platforms and the underlying research infrastructure \n
- Build and manage data pipelines drawing from APIs, web scraping, and alternative data sources \n
- Create and evolve internal tools and workflows that support the research process \n
- Deliver lightweight visualization and UI solutions that boost analyst productivity \n
