What You'll Do

• Provide patient care in a full-capability Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with diverse case types
• Manage patients with conditions such as sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, and post-op recovery
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and pass EKG competency assessment
• Support patient recovery through wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, PCA, and pain management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, RTs, PT/OT, and support staff
• Document effectively using Meditech Expanse EMR and operate IV pumps and medication dispensers
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed and adapt to varying patient needs
• Complete required orientation sessions and unit-specific training

What You Need

• Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in a comparable setting
• Strong clinical skills in wound care, cardiac monitoring, and pain management
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Flexible, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
