Role Overview The Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering provides Electrical Systems Engineering to develop Electronic Systems solutions for products across the Raytheon portfolio. The AEGS department is seeking a Senior Principal IFTS PO to lead a multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed team in the design, test, and delivery of all sub-assemblies needed for the Integrated Flight Test System (IFTS). What You Will Do Lead a multi‑disciplined engineering team and manage suppliers through an aggressive delivery schedule Take responsibility for Technical, Cost, and Schedule Execution Manage team budget and schedule, partnering with the product team to achieve cost goals and schedule milestones Track cost and schedule performance using EVMS, be responsible for Estimated At Complete (EACs), and report business metrics to the PMO and functional leadership Obtain PM Level 7 Certification Collaborate with suppliers and customers to procure and demonstrate capabilities in lab or field environments Guide a team through several phases of the hardware systems lifecycle, including designs, analysis, development of subsystem requirements and test plans, presentations to peers, management, and government customers, and root‑cause failure investigations Participate in a culture of mentoring—both mentoring and being mentored Work primarily in an office with occasional labs, field work, or a combination; assignments may require some travel Collaborate with both Functional and Program higher‑level management Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or eight years of experience in one or more of the following: Analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support; RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support; Electro‑Optical product and subassembly design, integration, and production support; Deconvolving high‑level requirements into actionable design electronics and subsystem architectures; Experience in sub‑systems, systems engineering, requirement development and/or verification; Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Top Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
