Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Newburyport, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and develop solutions.
- Conduct experiments and trials to validate new processes and technologies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to process changes and improvements.
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
