THE ROLE

You price the work and you own the assumptions behind it, through bid day and into the handoff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and spec and design build pricing on commercial and institutional work
Takeoff, gear and switchgear quotes, and the lead times that decide the job
Scope review, alternates, and the questions that surface a gap early
Bid day, and the handoff to the project manager and the field
Cost history kept so the next bid is sharper than the last
Temporary power, site distribution and utility coordination

QUALIFICATIONS

Five or more years estimating electrical work
Accubid or ConEst fluency helps
Gear lead times and switchgear pricing you have actually chased
Numbers that still held once the job was running

COMPENSATION

Base of $115,000 to $155,000.
