Duration: 13 weeks contract (Possible extension)


Location: Cooperstown, NY

Work Schedule: Days and nights * 3 days a week

Hours: 7am - 7pm // 7pm - 7am

Job Summary:

The OR Tech under general supervision by the OR Manager/Surgery Center Manager is a member of the OR Team, working with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists and ancillary support personnel whose primary function is scrubbing for surgical cases. Other functions include handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases.


Education:

• High School Diploma or GED, required

Experience:

• Minimum 1 years surgical tech experience

License/ Certification:

• Valid NBSTSA required
• Might consider NCCT
• BLS certifications required
