Overview
Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Travel assignment starting 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts. Weekly pay range: $3,058–$3,194. Role supports interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity setting. Note: local candidates within 50 miles may receive a local rate, which is $10 less than the posted bill rate.

Responsibilities
- Provide peri-procedural and post-procedural nursing care for interventional radiology patients, including pre-assessment and post-procedure monitoring
- Monitor telemetry and interpret telemetry strips; assist with CT/US-guided procedures; maintain sterile technique and assist physicians
- Manage patient safety, administer medications as ordered, respond to clinical changes, and participate in rapid response as needed
- Document care in the electronic medical record; coordinate with the IR team and ensure appropriate discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain an average patient load consistent with a near 1:1 ratio, with capacity to handle multiple cases per day in a busy IR service
- Participate in on-call coverage as required (nights/weekends/one major holiday) with a 30-minute callback time

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- 2+ years of interventional radiology and critical care experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass telemetry interpretation test on day 1 with 85% or better
- Experience in Level I Trauma environments is preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts and participate in on-call coverage as described
