Clinical Data Manager I

Location: Medical Center Office Building (901 7th Ave) Department: Research Operations Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Clinical Data Manager I manages all aspects of clinical data. This individual interprets, abstracts, and submits comprehensive, accurate data relating to study subjects by abstracting data as required by the study protocol and/or clinical trial sponsor, verifies and updates all information compiled and enter data into the application in a timely manner, and performs coding of adverse events or other designed medical diagnosis, injury, and/or procedures as directed by protocol, as required. This individual Acts as a resource for other research staff evaluating study-related data. Education & Experience: HS diploma required 9+ years of combined relevant healthcare experience (degree can be substituted with equivalent clinical healthcare or research experience) Computer proficiency in word processing, Excel, and database systems Data and/or abstracting experience required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to exercise independent judgment with strong analytical capabilities Excellent interpersonal and oral, written, and electronic interpersonal communication skills About Us: Cook Children's is an equal opportunity employer.
