Job Description & Requirements Specialty: SICU - Surgical Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary A Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in a Dallas, Texas healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for surgical patients within the ICU setting, focusing on patients requiring high acuity interventions and advanced procedures. Job Details Position: RN ICU Surgical Location: Dallas, TX Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Texas, at least 2 years of ICU experience, certifications including BLS and ACLS, experience with advanced ICU procedures such as central line placements, intubations, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and bedside procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRRT, Hypothermia protocol, Meditech documentation system. Additional Information: Assignments according to acuity and skills, with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE cardiac output monitors. Clinical responsibilities include managing a surgical patient population, especially oncology cases. Dress code mandates royal blue scrubs; strict policies are in place for personal hygiene and appearance, including restrictions on artificial nails, extreme hairstyles, tattoos, and piercings. Floating policy as needed; flexible scheduling required. Two positions available, each requiring adherence to attendance and unit policies. Start date: 11/17/2026; End date: 02/16/2027.
