Prioritizes the importance of preventing errors, accidents, and infections within the workplace and reports potential or actual concerns immediately. Qualifications Education Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with equivalent clinical hospital experience required. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred. Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience required. PGY-2 or equivalent experience preferred for specialty areas. Experience Proficiency in navigating the electronic medical record. One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience required. License(s)/Certification(s) Iowa Pharmacist license in good standing or eligible for licensure. Must attain a license to practice Pharmacy in Iowa within six months of employment. Must be directly supervised by a licensed pharmacist until Iowa Pharmacist license is obtained. Must maintain current license to practice pharmacy in Iowa and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners.
